plasmant decoating GmbH arised from former ab solut Chemie GmbH (shareholder: Dipl.-Chem. C.S. Thöne) in 2015 which nowadays exclusively concerns itself  to DECOATING in the gaseous phase resp. PLASMA.

Final goal of our inventions is to bring back DECOATING process into the place of its origin, the PVD recipient so that one can start the reverse process in case of DECOATING without the necessity for discharge (into cleaning and further into decoating bathes) and reload into oven again.

Further inventions showed clearly that cleaning of PVD chambers are easily done by using this PLASMA technology via external PLASMA modules.

After successful degree with Diploma for chemistry C.S. Thöne started his professional career as Manager of Surface Technology/ pretreatment prior to coating at Thyssen HOT Oberflächentechnik mbH Nürnberg, Germany  where he already developed decoating processes for HSS and Tooling steels (patents no.) and which were applied already for the production.

In 1997 he founded his own enterprise for job decoating, first CST Oberflächentechnik which finally went up into the new founded ab solut Chemie GmbH in 2003. Ab solut Chemie GmbH extended his portfolio by production and sale of decoating consumables like UNICERAL™ 108, FERRODEC™ 56 and EXCARBONITE™ 12 and decoating facilities.In 2015 ab solut Chemie GmbH has been sold, the brand renamed into plasmant decoating GmbH. Their activities are now focused solely on R&D of PLASMA DECOATING technologies for hard coatings and metallic coatings since 2016.
